FBRC.ai

Todd Terrazas is the co-founder and CEO of FBRC.ai and a leading force in the intersection of artificial intelligence, entertainment, and community innovation. Since founding the Artificial Intelligence Los Angeles Community (AI LA) in 2016, Todd has grown the nonprofit into one of the largest AI communities in the U.S., with over 23,000 members and partnerships spanning Fortune 500 companies, universities, and civic institutions. Under his leadership, AI LA has delivered impactful programming in AI literacy, workforce development, and responsible innovation across the greater Los Angeles region.

A graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, Todd began his career as a filmmaker and entrepreneur, launching ventures in interactive media, chatbot technology, and fan engagement. His early projects laid the foundation for his current work as an ecosystem builder.

In 2023, Todd launched FBRC.ai, a next-generation studio and innovation lab at the intersection of emerging technologies, storytelling, and entertainment. FBRC.ai takes an ecosystem approach to developing AI tools and workflows focused on product-pipeline fit. FBRC.ai builds community and accelerates innovation through the flagship industry conference AI on the Lot, worldbuilding labs, creative control hackathons, and AI filmmaking competitions like Cinema Synthetica, the Culver Cup, and a PromptBattle with BattleBots®. These programs act as public benchmarks for generative AI’s evolving role in content creation. Through initiatives like the AI Studio Industry Report and the Living Lab, FBRC.ai brings together creators, technologists, and startups to prototype tools, develop original IP, and reimagine production workflows for the future of media.

Todd’s work blends ethical AI, creative experimentation, and high impact convenings to build bridges across industry, academia, and culture.
