Shilpa is a global leader with 15+ years of experience in growth strategy, innovation, and business operations at the intersection of emerging tech and media. She has a proven track record of getting big, bold ideas past the finish line in fast-paced, highly matrixed organizations.
Shilpa is currently a VP on the Global Corporate Strategy team at Warner Bros Discovery (WBD), leading high impact cross-functional and cross-BU initiatives such as strategic planning, content optimization, and business development. In the year Warner Bros. turned 100 years old, she conceptualized and launched WBD’s emerging technology accelerator program, Innovate On The Lot - to shape the next 100 years of storytelling.
Previously, Shilpa held leadership positions in Warner Media Sales & Distribution (Content Licensing, Home Ent/Transactional, Distribution, Advertising Sales) and prior to that, was an engagement manager at Innosight, Clayton Christensen's strategy consulting firm. She started her career in Singapore and has lived & worked in APAC, EMEA, and is now based in Brooklyn, New York.
