Sara is a director, writer, producer and recent showrunner, known for creating visually dynamic and emotionally resonant stories that challenge audiences to think, feel, and engage. As the founder of Dalphinium Media, she is dedicated to reshaping narratives not only for her community but for a global audience.
Best known for her Oscar-qualifying short Leveled, Sara has spent the last five years building an impressive body of work across film and television—producing, directing, and writing for independent projects, including her own. She has been selected for several prestigious industry programs, including Rising Voices with Hillman Grad and Indeed for her feature Leveled, which is currently in development. She was also chosen by CAPE to attend Sundance 2025, where she will pitch her slate of upcoming television and film projects.
Her most recent project, a comedy digital series, Luck-It, in which she both showruns and stars in centers on a young Muslim woman navigating the making of her first feature film. The series is slated to release in February 2026. Later this year, Sara will also launch Season 2 of her acclaimed podcast Stripped Sideways, featuring intimate conversations with prominent figures in the entertainment industry centred on storytelling. Additionally, Leveled (short film) will be distributed later this year, streaming on various platforms in North America.
She was recently selected as one of 12 directors into the Terre di Cinema, directing campus program where she will make her short film, A Perfect Moment - shooting in 35mm in Italy next fall of 2026.
