Nader Sobhan brings over two decades of diverse experience in media and entertainment to the table, from executive, through founder to investor. 

He has played several roles in the shifting digital media landscape. He led the Digital Division at MBC Group, the MENA region's leading media company. Following this, he steered IFLIX as MENA CEO, guiding the video streaming service through significant growth before its exit to Tencent. His academic journey spans from Yale University to the Prague Film School, an MBA from INSEAD and capped with a former position as Adjunct Professor at the American University of Dubai where he taught emerging media.

 
Currently, Sobhan is the driving force behind IKTOMI, an innovation studio and venture builder across MENA and APAC that also creates AI solutions tailored for the entertainment industry. One notable project, VYND.IO, aims to address and mitigate inherent biases within AI, something that can have profound social impact through the stories and images that we see. 

As an investor, he is focused on supporting the next generation of disruptors in big data and sustainability.
