Max Michael is the founder and CEO of M3 Global Strategy, a next-generation advisory and representation firm bridging media, technology, and international storytelling. Formerly Head of Asian Business Development at UTA, Max spent nearly two decades shaping the agency’s global expansion and pioneering its cross-border strategy. 

He was instrumental in packaging global hits such as Crazy Rich Asians, Wish Dragon, and K-Pop Demon Hunters, and has guided acclaimed filmmakers including Hirokazu Kore-eda, Derek Tsang, and Na Hong-jin. His strategic work has supported clients such as Netflix, Apple TV+, Tencent, CJ ENM, Kakao Entertainment, and HYBE—developing partnerships, IP, and market strategies that redefine how stories travel across cultures. 

A frequent speaker at CES, Asia Society, and major international film festivals, Max is recognized for his fluency in global markets and creative dealmaking. In 2025, he was inducted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).
