Kanji Kazahaya is President & CEO of Culture Connect Co., Ltd. and an advisor and lecturer of Tokyo Animation Business Accelerator Program since 2016 to support Tokyo based animation studios’ international business development. 

Kanji has various backgrounds but since he joined Toei Animation 2004, his focus shifted to the animation business. He has been connecting Japanese creators/licensors and overseas licensees/creators. As a producer, he works on some Japanese IP, such as “What the Flaffoverse”, “Laidback Lu”, “Gustav, The Forest Keeper” for international co-production. He believes NFT is an emerging opportunity for animation creators. Thus, he released a full on-chain NFT for “Laidback Lu” and is now working on "Otori-Danshi" (Kyoto streets' Deities).
