Jon Gosier

Founder & CEO
FilmHedge

Jon Gosier is a dynamic force at the intersection of film, finance, and frontier innovation. As the Founder and CEO of FilmHedge, he’s revolutionizing how movies and TV shows are financed—offering up to $25 million per project through a tech-first platform that's fast, data-informed, and investor-focused.

Previously, Jon founded and led Audigent, a trailblazing data and advertising platform that became one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the U.S. After years of growth and industry acclaim—including spots on both the INC5000 and Deloitte Fast 500—Audigent was successfully acquired in 2024, marking a major milestone in Jon’s entrepreneurial journey.

He is also the founder of Southbox Entertainment, a film and TV production company, and Southbox Capital, a private investment firm. Through these ventures, Jon backs bold ideas across media, fintech, and data—often focusing on founders and stories that challenge the status quo.

Earlier in his career, Jon played a pioneering role in Africa’s innovation economy, launching initiatives like Appfrica and AfriLabs that helped grow the continent’s tech ecosystem. His collaborations with organizations such as the UN, World Bank, and U.S. Department of State helped bring early venture support to thousands of African startups and software developers.

A TED Fellow, Jon’s 2014 talk on ethical innovation has reached global audiences, and his memoir, "CODE SWITCH" offers an unfiltered look at his life—from the frontlines of technology to the backlots of Hollywood.

Whether he’s financing films, building companies, or speaking on global stages, Jon brings a mix of vision, grit, and soul to everything he touches—chasing the future with both purpose and style.
