Born in France, Damiano is English and Italian by birth. A graduate of the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris in Modern Literature and holder of a master's degree in Movies from the Université Panthéon - Sorbonne, Damiano started his career in 1995 in production at TF1 (FTA broadcaster), and in 1999, he joined CANAL+ Group, which is a main leading pay TV platform in France. 

He successively held positions of responsibility in production, marketing, and editorial management for the channels in the Group's publishing division. In 2007, he took part in the creation and launched PLANETE+ JUSTICE, before becoming Head of Program at CUISINE+ in 2011. 

In 2013, Damiano joined the Canal+ International division, and from the Ivory Coast, create, launch and manage the Group's 1st 100% African Pay TV (A+) & FTA (A+ Ivoire) channels. He joined the APAC division of the Canal+ Group in the position of Channels & Content Director for Canal+ Myanmar since 2021 and supervises Asian-scale projects for Canal+.
