Buyers @ ATF 2025—Frontliners set the tone

The evergreen adage of how change is the only constant has been keeping the industry on its toes for a while now. As it continues to evolve, it gives solace to know that the likes of ATF continues to offer an annual platform that amplifies current business needs, while enhancing the new.

This assurance to date is reflected in the profiles of buyers that have started piling in at ATF’s first stages of the 2025’s buyer recruitment program.

In this first look, buyers committed to date are recurring buyers—an annual design as frontliners, before new buyers take hold in future waves (Look out for future articles on iNSiGHTS as we follow the development of buyers at ATF this year).

It is noteworthy to mention that the top 3 regions this first wave of buyers want to actively acquire content from are East Asia, South Asia and Southeast Asia, with the most popular genres being Feature Film, Series, and Docs & Factuals.

A new dimension to highlight at ATF 2025 are first look buyers who have intentions to consider micro-dramas, with Thailand leading the charge.
