Revolution Media is a film production company based in Kuala Lumpur, set up to develop and produce series and feature films for local and international audiences with Asian settings and themes. 

It has established commercial partnerships across the region and internationally, clients include Netflix US and Asia, BBC America, Australia’s Seven and Ten Network, Screenplay Indonesia, Astro, WeTV and Viu. With a track record spanning multi format products in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia and Mandarin, Revolution Media is a preferred partner for development and production for a diverse need from platforms and studios in Asia and internationally.

Revolution Media was founded by Zainir Aminullah, a veteran in the content industry. Prior to Revolution Media, Zainir spent 17 years at Astro, Malaysia’s leading integrated media entertainment group. He managed the group’s content business, overseeing various functions including content development, channel management, network operations, content commissioning, in-house production, sports, news, and feature films. He also formed strategic partnerships and collaborated with global media organisations to start new businesses in the region, including with A+E, NDTV and Endemol.
