SAFF helped me connect with many decision makers in the region to expand our relationship and to seek for opportunities. Our vision is to develop international projects that can travel outside Vietnam, therefore, such occasions definitely benefit us. While improving Mamafia, I personally work with an award-winning director to develop a new project that will be ready to release by early next year.
What’s great is that because of SAFF, we’ve had a lot of interest from investors and co-producers in our film, which to be honest, the most difficult part of getting a project off the ground is meeting the right people who are as passionate about the project as we are, and getting eyes on our work. Now I feel like I have so many people who want to get involved, we just need to finalize the development of it!
It was a great experience at SAFF last year, meeting the financiers, festival directors, distributors etc…. We are in the midst of pre-production and planning to shoot early next year.
