He is adept at liaising with industry bodies & government authorities and is often called upon to speak at industry related forums.

Shibasish is a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, Company Secretary and MBA with specialization in marketing. His past employment includes managerial positions at Viacom 18, UTV Disney & Godrej Sara Lee.

Besides serving in the capacity of Director & Member of the Board within various Reliance ADA group companies, Shibasish leads the M & E businesses as its Group CEO – Content, New Media & Gaming.

Giorgio Stock is President, WarnerMedia Entertainment Networks, Distribution and Advertising Sales, EMEA and APAC.

Stock, previously President Turner EMEA, has responsibility for all entertainment networks, distribution of all networks, advertising sales and the kids’ networks operations in Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Asia Pacific region. Based in London, his focus is on harnessing the existing strengths of the Turner and HBO linear and non-linear branded destinations while also equipping them for further collaboration and growth with a portfolio that includes core brands such as Cartoon Network, CNN, HBO and TNT.

Stock joined the company in April 2013 as President Turner EMEA with executive oversight of all Turner kids and entertainment networks in the region, including digital and media services of core brands such as Cartoon Network, Boomerang, TNT and TCM as well as kids streaming service Toonix, available direct-to-consumer and via a partnership with HBO Nordic. His role also included the distribution of CNN’s services, and licensing and merchandising activity in Europe, the Middle East and Africa as well as international L&M liaison.

He joined the company after a diverse 15-year career with Disney where he held publishing and content leadership roles out of Paris, New York, Milan and London overseeing television, publishing, retail, music and gaming.

He started his career in media and entertainment at Bertelsmann AG where he held senior level positions in corporate strategy at its HQ and operating positions in Publishing in NY and Milan.

Deepak Dhar

Deepak Dhar is the man credited with being the key driving force behind the content production in India, bringing a unique combination of creativity and commerce to the fore. After being the brain behind some of the most successful fiction and non-fiction formats in his various avatars, Deepak has collaborated with Paris-headquartered content powerhouse Banijay Group and set up Banijay Asia. As the founder CEO of the company, he aims to create premium content for television, films and OTT platforms, with expertise across all genres including entertainment, factual, scripted and reality across all territories in Asia.

In his current profile, Deepak leads the new business, content strategies, partnerships and alliances across the region starting with India. Within a short span, the company has built a strong slate which includes ARRived (the first YouTube India web series), DIVIDED, Dating in the Dark, Hostages, Bombers (India’s first sports drama on Zee5), Nach Baliye 9 (the biggest celebrity couple dance reality show in India), The Kapil Sharma Show and Myntra Fashion Superstar (a reality show for all style and fashion influencers headlined by Sonakshi Sinha) to name a few.

Under his leadership, Banijay Asia has collaborated with Salman Khan TV, MS Dhoni’s new venture- Dhoni Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and Group M’s Motion Content Group to create and execute unique concepts for TV and web. The partnership provides scripted and non-scripted content across the numerous interesting genres for Indian and South East Asian markets.

Deepak started his journey in 1996 and has grown to become one of the most prominent names within the entertainment industry. A path-breaker right from the beginning of his career, Deepak has contributed greatly in changing the landscape of Indian television industry and ruled the world of TRP’s with some of the most talked-about shows in Indian Television History like Bigg Boss, Khatron Ke Khiladi, The Voice India, So You Think You Can Dance India and MasterChef India.

In his leisure time, Deepak likes to spend time with family and indulge in watching movies. He has a flair for photography and writing. He is a sports enthusiast and likes to unwind with a game of squash or badminton. Recently Deepak also explored his philanthropic side by participating in a program by Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit organization that builds homes and provides housing-related services to low-income, marginalized families across India.

Hwang oversees the global content development and production of creating “brand x content integration” business model in CJ ENM's global media solution division. He has been a director and producer for 18 years, in charge of producing over 70 TV programmes. He has been working on a wide range of international formats in local productions such as Popstars to Opera, Top Gear, Got Talent, Bet on your Baby, Who wants to be a Millionaire and The Phone.

Hwang successfully developed original formats to go global, such as Better Late than Never (aka, Grandpas over Flowers), I can see your Voice, The Genius Game, and Golden Tambourine. Formerly working as CJ ENM's format and content development chief in company's media content division, he was in charge of developing new content and international projects to be localized and produced in international areas.

Hwang is also a Korean government-certified industry expert of global content development, vice-chairman of the “Korea Format Alliance”, organized by KOCCA (Korea Creative Content Agency), and general board member of FRAPA. In 2018, Hwang was awarded a Prime Minister citation for his contribution to industry pioneer for Korean content.

Jimmy Kim

Jimmy Kim is a familiar face on stage at varied media, content, and telecommunications-related conferences and forums across Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea.

He has gone from being Director of Contents Distribution at CNBC Asia Pacific, to Head of Contents Distribution, New Media & Partnership at Bloomberg TV Asia Pacific and Vice President, Contents Distribution Department at Viacom International Media Networks (which owns MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount etc).

Jimmy then moved on to become CEO of Ustream Korea, an online/mobile TV platform, born from a JV between Korea Telecom & Softbank in Japan. He later took on the role as Senior Vice President, Contents/Library/Licensing at MNC Media in Indonesia and most recently, as Managing Director, General Management/Strategy/P&L responsibility at Globecast Asia Pte Ltd, before stepping into Genflix.

Jimmy also lectures at various universities, including the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Catholic Uni and Sung Kyun Kwan Univ & junior MBA program.

Quark Henares is a multi-award filmmaker known for having written and directed feature films such as, My Candidate, Rakenrol and Keka. He also created the cult TV series, Rakista for TV5 and has helmed music videos for everyone from Gary V., to Sandwich, to Taken by Cars.

When he isn't filming, he's busy being a musician, columnist, DJ, entrepreneur and professor at the Ateneo de Manila University. Quark is currently the head of Globe Studios, the film and television arm of Globe Telecom.

Chris Knight

Television industry veteran and epicurean Chris Knight is the President and CEO of Gusto TV, a vertically integrated media company that produces, distributes, and broadcasts high-quality food content. Known worldwide for his innovative and highly stylized culinary and lifestyle content, Knight has produced over 500 hours of original television programming and continues to create about 100 hours annually. His shows have been seen in more than 170 countries.

In 2013, Knight independently launched food and lifestyle channel Gusto TV in Canada, operating it from Ottawa. After three short years on air, Bell Media licensed the Canadian Gusto TV brand in a ground-breaking partnership. Recently, Knight launched Gusto TV on several international streaming platforms in the US, Singapore, Latin America, and UK.

A food-lover at heart, Knight was an early advocate of regional cuisine and the slow food movement and is a visiting professor at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy. Knight is highly respected in the Canadian culinary community and is a judge for Canada’s Best 100 Restaurants.

Knight is an award-winning writer who has authored nine best-selling cookbooks based on his popular television shows. He's won the International Gourmand World Cookbook Award and International Golden Panda Award, both for One World Kitchen. Chris has won seven Taste Awards in several categories, including Best New Series (2016 and 2017), Best International Program (2017 and 2018), Best Ethnic Lifestyle (2017), Best Green or Organic Series (2018), and Best Series Pilot (2018). Knight has also won a 2017 James Beard Award for Fish the Dish in the category of Television Program In Studio or Fixed Location.

A media industry veteran, Loke Kheng has held leadership roles in terrestrial free-to-air TV, Pay TV and broadband services in leading Asian media companies. In September 2017, Loke Kheng rejoined Mediacorp as its CEO, coming full circle to the organisation where she started her career. During her years away from Mediacorp, Loke Kheng was Head of Content and Marketing at StarHub, President of Taiwan Broadband Communications and Head of NOW TV, the largest Pay TV operator in Hong Kong.

Loke Kheng is a graduate of National University of Singapore. She is married to a Singaporean and they have two children.

Tony Gunnarsson

Mallon is a 30-year entertainment veteran having achieved tremendous success in the music, home entertainment and digital entertainment industries. He has held senior management positions at Rhino Entertainment, Warner Music Group, and Image Entertainment.

In 2007, Mallon co-founded the Digital EMA and is currently the Chair of the Steering Committee for Digital EMA “http://www.entmerch.org/digitalema/”. Digital EMA's programs and initiatives help educate and inform content creators, distributors, service providers, technology companies, and studios who are interested in the evolving digital marketplace.

Michel Rodrigue

With 35+ years’ experience, knowledge and connections in the television industry, Michel has played a key role in driving the television Format industry to worldwide prominence. He offers comprehensive consultancy on all aspects of the business from building TV networks to providing executive-mentoring, global market analysis and bespoke format purchase and distribution advice. He is a sought-after keynote lecturer and producer of international entertainment workshops and seminars.

While helming The Format People during the past 10 years, Michel’s broad-ranging work has included substantial mandates with major broadcasters and production companies including Warner Bros, FOX Reality, Fremantle Media and Star China; executive-mentoring of leading figures in the TV business, and major infrastructure projects such as building Mongol TV from the ground-up into one the country’s leading broadcasters.

Michel consults with a number of Asian television clients on co-development partnerships as well as advising on the sale, production & protection of their formats on the international market. Michel has been speaking about Chinese co-development and SARFT regulations since being on an Asia TV Forum panel in 2016; and spearheaded 4-module training Master Class sessions on Formats in both China and in Korea. Over the years, he moderated numerous panels and has recently been invited to keynote, and lead workshops at: MipTV/MipFormats to BCWW Seoul, Korea; and Promax BDA in Los Angeles.

Instigator of the first TV Format Market at the Monte Carlo TV Festival in 1999, Michel was dubbed by the press “The Father of Formats” for his in-depth knowledge of the format business. His early career included the role of Vice-President of Programming and Production at Télé-Capitale Inc. (now TVA) in Quebec Canada. Michel began his television career in the early 70’s as a writer, cameraman and director.

Michel was honored with a Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the Minister of Cultural Affairs, Mr. Jacques Toubon, from the government of France and is an active member of the international television community. He is one of the founding members of FRAPA, as well as the EMC (Entertainment Master Class). Michel was a long-standing member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences – producers of the International Emmy Awards.

Leslie Lee

Leslie Lee is Turner’s Vice President of Kids Content, overseeing Cartoon Network, Boomerang and POGO networks in Asia Pacific.

Based in Singapore, his role includes the programming, operations, brand and franchise management, and content direction for the three brands. He’ll also be working closely with the original production and development team, as well as the branded content, digital and games units.

Leslie has over two decades’ experience and expertise in the entertainment industry in Asia, across marketing communications, programming, channel management, animation development and media distribution. His career includes spells at MediaCorp, Viacom and he was most recently Executive Director of Media Networks at The Walt Disney Company (Southeast Asia) – a company he joined in 2007.

He presently volunteers his time mentoring media students in various Singapore-based institutes of higher learning, sits on the programming committee at the Asian Festival of Children’s Content and is a board member of Centre 42, a non-profit arts organisation that supports playwriting in Singapore.

Ajay Vidyasagar

Ajay is the Asia Pacific Regional Director for YouTube at Google based in Singapore. He has worked closely with some of the region’s biggest broadcasters, top creators, Music labels and motion picture companies, helping them partner with YouTube on their digital video strategy. He manages some of the biggest markets for YouTube globally including markets across ASEAN and India. He has been at Google and Youtube for over eight years now.

Ajay spent over fourteen years at STAR Television in India playing a key leadership role and making tremendous contributions: from leading STAR PLUS, STAR ONE, Channel [V], Star Vijay, Marketing, to its content and new media division. His achievements include Channel [V]’s launch of a youth platform, launch of Star’s Interactive business in India and the launch of STAR network into South India. Ajay also spearheaded the launch of Kaun Banega Crorepati (the Indian version of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire”) to record among the highest rated TV show launches in Indian television history in 2006.

Before joining Google, Ajay acted as Chief Operating Officer of Sun TV Network in India. Ajay is a graduate from the University of Madras and Postgraduate in the Advanced Media from the Indian School of Business.

Ajay is a Malayalee South Indian married to Anna Alexander and has two children – Shloka who is twenty and Neal who is thirteen years old.
