An aging population will be the next big demand profile in Thailand.

Thailand is expected to have the third largest aging population in the region. Population aged 65yrs+ will be doubled in next 15 years.

Thailand’s aging society will start in 2018. This is when the Thai population aged 60 years old and above will surpass the population of children. In 2025, almost a quarter will be aging and the working population will shrink from 64% to 61%.
