Rashmi Bajpai is the Executive Vice President of finished and format sales in Asia for Banijay Rights. She joined the company in 2011 and was based in Hong Kong before relocating to Mumbai, India, where she now works. 

Rashmi has helmed the business in the region at a time of rapid change, with technology, mergers and acquisitions posing new challenges – and opening new opportunities.

From licensing multi-territory deals with Pan-Asian broadcasters such as Warner Bros Discovery, AXN and Rewind Networks, to adapting Banijay Entertainment’s hit formats locally such as Lego Masters in South Korea and Japan, All Together Now in China and several adaptations of MasterChef, Rashmi has invaluable experience when understanding the needs of varying markets, mediums and production budgets. 

With over 4000 formats and over 200,000 hours of content, Rashmi has a burgeoning Banijay Rights catalogue to her aid as she works with an unrivalled client base across the continent.
