Mathew Alderson is an international media and entertainment lawyer. He is the principal of Australian firm Aldersons Legal & Consulting and a partner in US firm Harris Sliwoski. While living in Beijing for more than a decade, he participated in the extraordinary transformation of China’s film & TV industries. On China projects, Mathew has represented several major Hollywood studios and streamers, public broadcasters, and copyright collection societies. He also advises Chinese production companies on their international projects. Mathew’s work includes Sino-foreign co-development, co-production, co-financing, and distribution.
