Jaehee Hong joined Rakuten Viki in 2019 and is currently heading the content acquisition & partnerships. Rakuten Viki is a global OTT platform which has been positioned as a destination of Asian contents in major markets such as the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and India.

She was previously in charge of programming & acquisition at Samsung Entertainment Group’s premium movie channel CatchOne and later led the VOD business team & original production team at On Media in Korea in the initial stage of business. In addition, with the emergence of OTT services accompanied with the widespread supply of smartphones, she led the content planning & acquisition for SK Telecom’s OTT service, ‘hoppin’ and app marketplace, ‘T store’.
