Tommy Harper is an American film and television producer, and entrepreneur whose projects have collectively grossed over six billion dollars at the global box office. Harper's notable credits include Wednesday, Top Gun: Maverick, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, Alice in Wonderland, Mission: Impossible III, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, and Star Trek Beyond. Additional film and television credits include Spiderhead, Willow, Battle: Los Angeles, Jack Ryan, and Big Eyes, to name a few.

Harper frequently collaborates with renowned creatives and filmmakers such as Tim Burton, Tom Cruise, J.J. Abrams, Joseph Kosinski, and Angelina Jolie. Over his 20-plus-year career, Harper has been fortunate to work with esteemed directors such as the late Gary Marshall, Kenneth Branagh, Doug Liman, and Brad Bird. In addition, his films have represented the talents of celebrated actors including Julia Roberts, Eddie Murphy, Robert DeNiro, Meryl Streep, Jim Carrey, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sandra Bullock, Harrison Ford, Ewan McGregor, Jessica Lange, Chris Pine, Chris Hemsworth, and Tom Cruise. 

This year, Harper expanded his focus beyond traditional film and television production with the launch of VeYou, a premium vertical drama platform designed to discover, develop, and scale intellectual property for a mobile-first generation. Combining Hollywood-caliber storytelling with AI-powered audience insights, VeYou is pioneering a new model for content creation, distribution, and audience engagement. Through VeYou, and Harper’s vertical drama production company, Tiny Verticals, Harper is building a technology-driven entertainment ecosystem that enables creators and storytellers to develop premium short-form series with the potential to scale and grow into global franchises. 

After finishing principal photography on Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens as Executive Producer for Walt Disney Pictures and LucasFilm, Harper continued his long-standing relationship with J.J. Abrams and Bad Robot, serving as COO and Head of Production from 2014 to 2017. 

Alongside his work with VeYou, Harper continues to produce film and television projects through Tommy Harper Productions. His current slate includes The End of Oak Street with J.J. Abrams, premiering in August 2026, and the third season of Wednesday, along with multiple projects in development.
