Tanakhir Films
Mandy Marahimin set up her own production company in 2013, called Tanakhir Films. She has been selected into the Rotterdam Lab and Berlinale Talents.
With her production company, Mandy produces fiction films and documentaries. One of the documentary films she produced was broadcast by Japan's NHK TV station, titled A MAN WITH 12 WIVES. The last documentary she produced was titled SEMESTA (ISLANDS OF FAITH) which hit the theaters in January 2020 and is now available on Netflix.
Currently, Mandy is completing a feature-length documentary titled ONE BIG SUMBA FAMILY, in production of a feature length documentary titled A DISTANT CALL, and in preparation for a feature-length fiction film titled CROCODILE TEARS. The last short film that Mandy produced, LAUT MEMANGGILKU (THE SEA CALLS FOR ME), won Best Short Film Asia (Sonje Award) from Busan International Film Festival, and won Best Short Film from Festival Film Indonesia, the national award.
Mandy has also worked for Ideosource Entertainment as an investor analyst, as Outreach Director for Good Pitch Southeast Asia and Good Pitch Indonesia, and as interim executive director of In-Docs.
