Jacques du Puy joined CANAL+ Group in November 2012 and became CEO of CANAL+ International in January 2013. He was appointed a member of the management board of CANAL+ Group in 2016 and Senior Executive Vice-President of CANAL+ Group in 2018.
Jacques du Puy started his career in the early 1980s with Rhône Poulenc Agro, where he held various high-level positions, mostly international, notably as CEO of India and then of Japan.
In 2000, following the merger between Rhône-Poulenc and Hoechst, he was appointed CEO for Japan and Korea of Aventis CropScience. After the acquisition of Aventis CropScience by Bayer in 2002, he became Member of the Global Executive Committee of Bayer CropScience and CEO of Europe, Africa and Middle East. In 2011 he joined the Veterinary Pharmaceutical Laboratory Vetoquinol as COO.
