Chief Content Officer
Hyejung Hwang is currently the Chief Content Officer of TVING, a South Korean online streaming service (OTT platform) operated jointly by CJ ENM, JTBC, and Naver. Hyejung is in charge of the strategy, planning, and marketing of TVING’s content and originals, as well as ensuring the expansion of the OTT platform within Korea and abroad.
Hyejung Hwang started her career as a team leader for the Busan Film Festival before moving to the Korean entertainment giant CJ ENM, where she was in charge of trendy content planning and marketing for its lifestyle channels (XTM, ONSTYLE, O’Live). Prior to joining TVING in September 2020, she was working for the movie channel OCN since 2017, where she contributed to building a No. 1 story-entertainment brand through trendy, well-made, original content.
