Founder
Migo
Barrett Comiskey is the Founder of Migo. A New York City native who has been in Asia since 2004, he believes in the power of entertainment and education to transform billions of lives.
Prior to Migo, he invented and co-founded E Ink, the revolutionary display technology used in the Amazon Kindle, while an undergraduate at MIT's Media Lab. He has more than 70 patents to his name, is recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Technology Pioneer and was the youngest inductee into the US National Inventors Hall of Fame.
With E Ink, he brought reading into the digital era and developed a billion-dollar revenue company. With Migo, he can make an impact orders of magnitude larger and more disruptive. Using technology and consumer-centric innovation, Migo levels the digital playing field by making digital participation for 3 billion under-innovated consumers in emerging markets possible and affordable.
He is an alumnus of the Stanford Graduate School of Business and holds a B.S. in Mathematics from MIT.
