ATF 2009 Market Highlights

3-day market generates US 88.7 million programming sales

The 10th edition of the Asia Television Forum (ATF) closed strongly with US$88.7 million worth of deals transacted. Business generated close to 20% growth from last year’s record of US$73.7 million programming sales, an indication of a vibrant Asian content industry.

2009 marks the milestone of ATF since its first edition in 2003. Despite the current economic climate, ATF enjoyed 8% growth in overall participation. At its recent winning of "Exhibition of the Year" conferred by the Singapore Experience Awards, a prestigious awards platform organised by the Singapore Tourism Board to recognise outstanding product and service delivery, ATF further prove to be a market which open doors to opportunities in a growing economy.

    In 2009, ATF brought together 330 exhibiting companies (13% raise from 2008) from 35 countries, with strong group representation from France, Malaysia, Singapore, Spain, South Korea (2 contingents), Taiwan and 2 new pavilions; Canada and Italy.
